Talk with our team
Every person's situation is unique. We listen first: your circumstances, care needs, goals, existing supports and funding, and the questions on your mind. Then we explain the options in plain language.
Whether you are exploring support at home, NDIS services or a place to live with 24/7 support, choosing care can feel overwhelming. This page walks you through the whole journey — what happens, what you'll need and who stands beside you at every step.
● No obligation. No pressure. Clear, practical guidance.
You don't need to understand every program before contacting us. Choose the pathway closest to your situation — we'll help clarify the rest.
Six steps from first conversation to ongoing care. Most families tell us the process felt simpler than they feared — because someone walked it with them.
Every person's situation is unique. We listen first: your circumstances, care needs, goals, existing supports and funding, and the questions on your mind. Then we explain the options in plain language.
We help you navigate Support at Home classifications, NDIS plan types and private options — and what each covers. The government assessment is free. We can guide you through it, but eligibility and funding decisions rest with the assessor, not with us.
Before services begin we get to know you properly: health and clinical needs, mobility and safety, daily living, cultural and language preferences, family involvement and — most importantly — what matters to you.
Together we design your plan: personal care, nursing, domestic help, social support, allied health, medication assistance, respite or complex supports. It stays flexible — your plan changes when your life does.
We match you with suitable carers, introduce your key contacts, confirm schedules and show you exactly how to reach us. Our aim is a first week that feels comfortable, not clinical.
As your circumstances change, so can your care. We regularly review outcomes, clinical needs, goals and satisfaction — and if the right setting one day becomes our Ashburton residence, the team who knows your story comes with you.
There is no anonymous call-centre relationship at Rosewood Gardens. You have familiar people, clear contacts and a further level of accountability whenever you need it.
Your familiar first contact for everyday support — someone who knows your name, your routine and your story.
Coordinates, monitors and reviews your care plan — and is directly reachable when something needs to change.
A direct further level of support and accountability. In a family-owned business, the buck stops with people you can actually speak to.
Our eight-page client information pack explains Support at Home eligibility, the five ways to apply, the documents that speed up a decision, and how to prepare for your assessment — including our most important advice: describe a difficult day, not your best day.
Straight answers to the questions families ask us most. For anything else, Rosie can help 24/7 — or call us seven days a week.
Timeframes vary with the type of service and your funding arrangements. Private services can often begin quickly; government-funded services depend on assessment and funding release. We will explain the likely timeframe honestly during your first conversation — before you commit to anything.
Absolutely. We encourage family participation in care planning and reviews wherever you want it. A family member, friend or registered supporter can be part of every conversation — the decisions always remain yours.
Most people don't at first — the system is complex. Our team explains Support at Home classifications, NDIS plan types and private options in simple language, and our free application guide and online budget calculator show you the numbers. We can guide you through the whole process, but funding decisions always rest with the government assessor.
Rosewood Gardens in Ashburton is a privately operated supported residential service — a home with 24/7 support and a registered nurse onsite. It is not a Commonwealth-funded residential aged care home, so there are no RAD/DAP accommodation deposits and no My Aged Care residential placement process. Residents pay for accommodation and meals privately, and their care and support can be funded through Support at Home, the NDIS, TAC or privately.
Government programs such as Support at Home and the NDIS fund care and support services — personal care, 24/7 support, nursing, allied health and daily living assistance — and these can be delivered to residents living at Rosewood Gardens. Accommodation and meals are paid separately by the resident. Our team can explain how the two parts work together for your situation.
Yes. Care plans are reviewed regularly and adjusted as your needs evolve — that's the point of having one coordinated provider across home care, community support and our residence.
Choosing care is a big decision. These are the questions we believe every family should ask — of any provider, including us. Here are our answers.
Funded services are always subject to assessment, approved plans and available budgets, and our team confirms current fees before anything is agreed. Individual fees are confirmed before services begin.
One call can start the journey toward better care, greater independence and peace of mind — for you, or for someone you love.
